WoF OC- Fatechaser Ref

Description

Third ref in my mission to make ref sheets for all of my Wings of Fire Ocs! Unfortunately, I can't make this one into an outline because Fatechaser is a younger dragon at only one and a half years. His horns are a little shorter because of his age, as well as his neck. Other than that, I think I did a poor job of making him look the younger. I should have made his wings smaller, his tail shorter, and his body and muscles less developed.

I changed the colors and design a bit from the last time I drew him, and I like how it turned out overall as far as practicing different positions goes. (Although I couldn't get the talons on the other side of his body right, so I just left them out.

Name: Fatechaser

Gender: Male (Heterosexual)

Age: 1.5 year-old

Species: NightWing

Loyalties: RainWing

History: Before the volcano erupted, Greatness fell in love with a NightWing named Skygazer, who was a palace guard. She had an egg, but refused to tell her mother who the father was, knowing that her mother would be very unhappy and would order Skygazer or the egg to be killed. Queen Battlewinner told Greatness that she could keep the egg, but ordered it to be kept in the royal hatchery. Soon afterwards, the volcano blew up. Skygazer just so happened to be working as a guard that night and he made it out with the egg. The egg spent a substantial amount of time in the moonlight of the rainforest, and ended up hatching the night that the comet hit. Somehow, this comet gave Fatechaser both mind reading, future seeing, and the power to walk in someone else’s dreams without a dreamvisitor. Neither of his parents tell anyone because they fear that someone will use their son’s power to overthrow the RainWings, and they don’t want their son to be used. He absolutely hates the NightWings, but he admires the RainWings.

Character Strengths: He’s quiet, but he’s not shy. It’s just that he tends to be more of a listener and an observer than a talker. When he does speak, however, it is usually productive, or to make a point. He really doesn’t care whether his powers stay a secret or not and he hates the pressure his parents put on him.

Character Flaws: Due to his parents sheltering him from other dragons, Fatechaser is socially awkward in many situations, and he sometimes can't refrain himself from replying to thoughts dispite the danger of discovery.

Appearance: He is a purple-black NightWing with grayish underscales. His horns are white like most NightWings. The star patterns on his wings have actual constellations in them. His eyes are a lavender color, and he has two small silver teardrop-shaped scales at the corners of his eyes.

Family: His mother is Greatness and his father is a NightWing named Skygazer.

Friends: Dragonfly, Sleet

Enemies: Soulsearcher
